📅 Contract: 10 Months (1 June 2026 – 30 March 2027)

FAMSA Limpopo is seeking a Victim Empowerment Programme Facilitator who will work on the frontline, helping individuals who have experienced trauma due to crime and violence.

The role involves providing emotional support, counselling, and community-based awareness initiatives.

• 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or Social Sciences  

• Registration with SACSSP  

• Valid driver’s licence (advantageous)

• Provide trauma debriefing and counselling to victims  

• Assess risk, safety, and immediate needs (shelter, medical care, police reporting)  

• Provide psychosocial support to individuals and groups  

• Conduct community awareness and prevention campaigns  

• Participate in programme planning, implementation, and evaluation  

• Facilitate community engagement and outreach initiatives
